Transcript Authorization
When applying to undergraduate programs at the UofA, applicants authorize the UofA to obtain Alberta high school transcripts from Alberta Education, and transcripts from participating Alberta post-secondary institutions previously attended. There is no charge for this service. View Participating Institutions

Step 6: Look for these important e-mails after submitting your application. [show]
You should receive your U of A ID number and your Campus Computing ID within two business days.
U of A ID number
You will receive an acknowledgement e-mail providing your 7-digit University ID number. Keep this number confidential and use it to identify yourself in any future communication.
Your U of A ID number is also required if you wish to apply to live in Residence.
Campus Computing ID and password
If you are a new student, Academic Information and Communication Technologies (AICT) will e-mail your Campus Computing ID (CCID) and initial password to you with instructions on how to activate it.
Your CCID and password accesses many services, including your U of A e-mail account and Bear Tracks, our online student service.
Important communications are sent to your University e-mail account, so activate it as soon as possible.
Through Bear Tracks, you can check the status of your application, view documents required to complete your application and receive admission decisions.
If you already have a CCID, you will not receive this e-mail.
