International Baccalaureate Diploma Scholarship Competition

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Scholarships are designed to recognize outstanding students completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Fifty scholarships of $1,000 each are available to the top IB Diploma graduates entering the University of Alberta, based on IB Diploma grades.

How to apply

To be considered for an International Baccalaureate Diploma Scholarship, you must supply the Registrar's Office with a transcript of your IB Diploma grades when applying for admission.

Deadline

Transcripts must be received in the Registrar's Office by August 1.

Results

We notify successful applicants of the competition results in late August/early September.

Getting your money

Scholarship funds for successful applicants are available in September upon confirmation of full-time registration at the University of Alberta.
