Advanced Placement Scholarship Competition

The Advanced Placement (AP) Scholarships are designed to recognize outstanding students who have National or International Advanced Placement Scholar Standing.

Fifty scholarships of $1,000 each are available to the top Advanced Placement Scholars entering the University of Alberta, based on Advanced Placement grades.

How to apply

To be considered for an AP Scholarship you must provide the Registrar's Office with a transcript of your National or International Advanced Placement Scholar Standing grades when applying for admission.

Deadline

Transcripts must be received in the Registrar's Office by August 1.

Getting results

We notify successful applicants of the competition results in late August/early September.

Cashing in

Scholarship funds for successful applicants are available in September upon confirmation of full-time registration at the University of Alberta.
