Financial Assistance
This site will assist you in getting information on a wide range of student financial assistance on campus:
- University of Alberta scholarships and awards is proud to award over $21 million in undergraduate scholarships each year to outstanding students.
- University Bursaries and Emergency Funding - administers a number of financial aid programs to both undergraduate and graduate students who are experiencing financial difficulties, including supplementary bursaries and emergency student loans
- Student Financial Aid Information Centre (SFAIC) - is a Students' Union initiative that offers assistance to students in completing their application forms for government student loans; financial information on budgeting, debt control and financial management; and ACCESS Fund bursaries.
The three offices above are part of the Student Financial Resources Centre, located in Room 1-80 Student's Union Building, which is a collaborative effort of the Office of the Registrar and Student Awards*, Student Services, and the Students' Union.
*Please note that Student Awards office has relocated to Room 120 Administration Building.

International students - the University of Alberta International Centre administers an International Student Emergency Loan Fund and an Emergency Bursary Fund to assist students caught in emergency situations. See the U of A International Centre website for details.
