Our current email response time is approximately 5-7 business days. However, we are not able to respond to inquiries regarding the status of your application or documents you may have submitted. Please continue to check your BearTracks and UAlberta email address for updates.

Please note that our Admissions unit is only open for phone inquiries between 1:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. MST (Monday to Friday).

While we strive to respond to inquiries as soon as possible, in some cases it may take longer to receive a response depending on the complexity of the questions. Please do not re-submit a similar inquiry as we are working hard to get back to you.

We have recently received course and mark updates for high school applicants in Canada and are actively working on evaluations. We appreciate your patience and ask that you continue to check your BearTracks and UAlberta email address for document and application status updates. Our advisors are not able to give application updates over the phone.

If you submitted your application more than 10 weeks ago with all of the required documents for evaluation but haven’t yet received an update to your application status, you can contact Student Connect at 780-492-3113 or toll-free at 1-855-492-3113 to speak with an advisor. Advisors will only be able to provide application updates over the phone if the above criteria have been met.
Changing program priorities:

The application deadline for undergraduate programs for Fall 2019 has passed (with some exceptions). For programs already on your application, you can still request to switch program priorities and the order in which they are evaluated. In order to do so, complete and submit the Admission Application Program Change Form. Please see the instructions on the form for more details. The deadline to switch program priorities is June 1, 2019.

Student Connect

Student Connect provides services from the Office of the Registrar to current and prospective undergraduate and graduate students. Services are provided online, by phone, and in-person.
