Field of Study: Any undergraduate degree program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean or in partnership between Faculté Saint-Jean and another UofA Faculty or School

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third, fourth, or fifth year of any undergraduate degree program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean or in partnership between Faculté Saint-Jean and another University of Alberta Faculty or School. Recipients will be selected on the basis of involvement in Faculté Saint-Jean activities and student life.

Bourse de l'Amicale Saint-Jean

Field of Study: Any undergraduate program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing continuing in any undergraduate program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean. Recipients will be selected on the basis of commitment to the French language as demonstrated by participation and involvement in activities organized on campus and in the community.

Preference given to students contributing to the promotion of French culture by participating in or creating local, provincial, or nation initiative in French in the arts, sports, or community.

Bourse du Fonds Leo Piquette et famille

Field of Study: Science, Arts, or Nursing at Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts (with a major or minor in any science discipline), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Bilingual) at Faculté Saint-Jean. Selection based on academic standing and indicated financial need. Preference given to students with demonstrated volunteerism in the health care or social service area and demonstrated intent to enter a health sciences program.

Bourse du prix d'honneur du Doyen - Dean's List

Field of Study: Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to every student entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th year who achieves a grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period, taken from September to April, in any undergraduate degree program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean. Selection based on academic achievement and continued registration at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Bourse Prix D'honneur Du Doyen Des Ecole Francophones / Dean's Francophone School Award

Field of Study: Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing (academic average of at least 75%) entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at Faculté Saint-Jean who graduated from an Alberta francophone high school. Selection based on demonstrated leadership in the francophone community and commitment to French life and culture, both at school and in the community.

Field of Study: Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to residents of Alberta with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of study at Faculté Saint-Jean for any undergraduate degree. Selection based on demonstrated leadership and involvement in student life at Faculté Saint-Jean or in their local francophone community.

Honourable Lucien Dubuc Memorial Awards

Field of Study: History, French-Canadian Literature at Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: To be awarded to undergraduate students with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of a degree program at Faculté Saint-Jean specializing in the history of French Canada or studying French-Canadian Literature. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing with preference given to students studying French Canada in the West.

Honourable Lucien Dubuc Memorial Graduate Scholarships

Field of Study: History, French-Canadian Literature at Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: To be awarded to students registered full-time in a graduate degree program in Arts or Education at Faculté Saint-Jean, who are specializing in the history of French Canada, especially in the West, or in French-Canadian Literature. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Conditions: To be awarded annually to Quebec residents with satisfactory academic standing in any year of an undergraduate degree program offered at Faculté Saint-Jean. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing.

Faculté Saint-Jean International Retention Award / Bourse de Rétention étudiants Internationaux Faculté Saint-Jean

Field of Study: Faculté Saint Jean

Conditions: Awarded to international students with a GPA of 3.2 or greater on 24 units of course weight continuing in any undergraduate degree at Faculté Saint-Jean who are studying full time on a Student Visa Permit. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership on the FSJ campus. Receipt of this award is contingent upon recipients registering in a minimum of three courses in both the fall and winter terms at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Fonds Boursier Stephen-Fouquet Award

Field of Study: Education, Arts

Conditions: Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing entering or continuing in any year of study for a Bachelor of Education at Campus Saint-Jean. Selection based on academic standing and the project or innovative strategy which best demonstrates ability to facilitate the learning of visual arts by Grade 1 to 6 students. If no candidate submits a suitable project or innovative strategy, the award may be given to a student in the Campus Saint-Jean Bachelor of Education program with satisfactory academic standing and a demonstrated interest in visual arts.

Guy Goyette Scholarship

Field of Study: Education, Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Education degree at Faculté Saint-Jean. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated intent to teach in Alberta at a francophone school for at least two years after convocation.

Bourse du Centenaire

Field of Study: Arts, Science

Conditions: Awarded to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 entering the second, third, or fourth year of study for a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree program at Campus Saint-Jean. Selection based on academic standing and commitment to promote the various French cultures in Alberta or Franco-Albertan culture in the rest of Canada as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular activities outside Campus Saint-Jean.

La Médaille d'Or Marie-Louise Brugeyroux

Field of Study: Education, Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded annually to the convocating student who, in the final two years of the Bachelor of Education program in Faculté Saint-Jean, has shown the highest academic achievement and proficiency in the Education program.

Funded by: The Alberta Teachers' Association in honor of Marie-Louise Brugeyroux, a long-time teacher and former supervisor of French as a second language in the Edmonton Separate School system.

Field of Study: Undergrad programs offered through Faculté Saint-Jean, except Baccalauréat en education and Baccalauréat Bilingue en Administration des Affaires

Conditions: Awarded to a continuing student with superior academic achievement enrolled in any undergraduate degree program offered through Faculté Saint-Jean, with the exception of Baccalauréat en education and Baccalauréat Bilingue en Administration des Affaires. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement on 24 units of course weight.

CFUW Margaret and Walter Lindley Francophone Experience Award

Field of Study: Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at Faculté Saint-Jean who is participating in a formal University of Alberta exchange or internship where the primary language of instruction is French. Selection based on academic standing.

Médaille d'or des Pères Oblats

Field of Study: Undergraduate programs at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Conditions: Awarded to the convocating student from any program in Faculté Saint Jean who has shown the highest distinction in scholarship on a minimum of 10 full course equivalents. Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents who are deemed to have mastered the French language.

Soeurs de l'Assomption de la Sainte Vierge Award

Field of Study: BEd Program at Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing from the Western Provinces or the Territories for whom French is one of the first languages and who registers or is registered in the Bachelor of Education program at Faculté Saint-Jean. Selection will be based upon academic standing and extracurricular involvement particularly within the French community. Financial need of the student is given special consideration.
