Field of Study: Undergraduate programs at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Conditions: Awarded annually to an Alberta resident who has successfully completed a high school grade 12 program and will be entering a degree program at Faculté Saint Jean. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of involvement in the Franco-Albertan Community with emphasis on leadership.

Field of Study: Open

Conditions: Awarded annually to a former resident of the Province of Quebec, who has satisfactory academic standing and is entering or transferring to an undergraduate degree program at Faculté Saint-Jean. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of proven leadership in student or community activities and academic standing.

Conditions: Awarded annually to a student who is presently enrolled in or has successfully completed Grade 12 in a Francophone High School in a Province where the majority language is not French, and who plans to enter the first year of a degree program at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of superior academic achievement with preference given to students planning to enroll in Campus Saint-Jean.

Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership on the FSJ campus. Receipt of this award is contingent upon recipients registering in a minimum of three courses in both the fall and winter terms at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Selection based on academic standing and the project or innovative strategy which best demonstrates ability to facilitate the learning of visual arts by Grade 1 to 6 students. If no candidate submits a suitable project or innovative strategy, the award may be given to a student in the Campus Saint-Jean Bachelor of Education program with satisfactory academic standing and a demonstrated interest in visual arts.

Conditions: Awarded to a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with superior academic achievement entering or transferring into an undergraduate degree program in Elementary Education at Faculté Saint-Jean. Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership demonstrated through involvement in student activities at Faculté Saint-Jean, commitment to teaching French immersion in Canada demonstrated through relevant extra-curricular activities (e.g. participation in La Société des Etudiants en Pédagogie and volunteering at French immersion schools), and academic achievement.

Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a minimum of 24 credits at Faculté Saint-Jean each year.

Conditions: Awarded to the convocating student from any program in Faculté Saint Jean who has shown the highest distinction in scholarship on a minimum of 10 full course equivalents. Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents who are deemed to have mastered the French language.

Field of Study: Undergraduate programs at Faculté Saint-Jean.

Conditions: Awarded annually to an Albertan, entering Faculté Saint-Jean, whose first language is French. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing and extracurricular involvement. Different values may be distributed in accordance with recipients' eligibility for this scholarship.

Soeurs de l'Assomption de la Sainte Vierge Award

Field of Study: BEd Program at Faculté Saint-Jean

Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing from the Western Provinces or the Territories for whom French is one of the first languages and who registers or is registered in the Bachelor of Education program at Faculté Saint-Jean. Selection will be based upon academic standing and extracurricular involvement particularly within the French community. Financial need of the student is given special consideration.

Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing with preference given to those in financial need.
