Alberta School of Business Undergraduate Bursary

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate Business degree program, and are assessed market modifier fees. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. A maximum of the actual market modifier fee paid or $1,500.00 in the case of domestic students and $3,000.00 in the case of international students will be awarded. A maximum of 20% of the total number of bursaries awarded will be granted to international students.

Larry and Janet Anderson Bursary in Business

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree in the Alberta School of Business, and who graduated from an Alberta high school. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. Preference given to students with leadership roles in student government, student organizations, student services, community service or volunteer activities.

Costco Bursary In Business

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing who is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Business. Selection based on demonstrated financial need with preference given to a student whose permanent residence is in Edmonton or the surrounding area and /or has a demonstrated interest in retailing.

James Thomas Cuthbertson And Wilfrid Lestock Reid Bursary

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to undergraduate students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of a Bachelor of Commerce in the School of Business. Selection based on demonstrated financial need.

Funded by: Endowed by the estate of Ruth Cuthbertson in dedication to James Thomes Cuthbertson and Wilfrid Lestock Reid, who were accountants in the days when it was expected that there was a credit for every debit.

Diversified Staffing Bursary

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Alberta School of Business. Selection based on demonstrated financial need.

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the Human Resource Management program in the School of Business. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated financial need.

Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Bursary In Business

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: To be awarded annually to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Business. Recipients will be selected on the basis of financial need and demonstrated involvement in leadership and community activities.

Robert Scales Memorial Bursary

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: To be awarded annually to an undergraduate student in a degree program in the Faculty of Business on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to a student majoring in Management Science and this bursary may be awarded to a student who is registered full or part-time.

Gordon Schroeder Memorial Bursary in Business

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate or graduate degree in the Alberta School of Business. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. Preference given to students with demonstrated involvement in extracurricular or community activities.

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded annually to a student registered in the third year of a degree program in the Faculty of Business. Selection will be based on financial need.

Funded by: Endowed by the Hal Spelliscy Family in memory of Terry Spelliscy. Terry was an Honours graduate of the Faculty of Business. He had been accepted (in the top 10%) to study law at the University of Alberta. He was a past president of the DU fraternity.

Field of Study: Business

Conditions: Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Alberta School of Business. Selection based on demonstrated financial need. Preference given to student(s) majoring in accounting and registered in a third or fourth year taxation course.
