BA Honors and BA Major/Minor Requirements

44.3 Arts and Cultural Management (MacEwan University)

    The minor in Arts and Cultural Management is offered in conjunction with MacEwan University. This program helps to prepare students for administrative and management roles in the creative and cultural sectors. As such it is a complementary minor for students in the Fine Arts majors, but is available to any student in the BA or BA Honors program in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta with an interest in the field.

    Students apply for a Letter of Permission, through the Faculty of Arts Undergraduate Student Services office, to register for Arts and Cultural Management courses at MacEwan University. See the Alberta Transfer Guide for details about transferable courses (www.transferalberta.ca).

44.3.1 Minor in Arts and Cultural Management

    A minor in Arts and Cultural Management requires at least *18 transferable AGAD courses, all of which will be completed at MacEwan University, including:

AGAD 100 (*3)

(2)

*12 senior level transferable AGAD including *6 at the 300-level or above.

(3)

*3 additional transferable AGAD (junior or senior)
