Welcome to the University of Alberta, one of our nation's leading universities.

Our community consists of many different groups: undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty, international and mature students, alumni and volunteers. Each of us brings our own stories, skills and experiences adding to what this university is, and what it can be.

During your time here you will be presented with a plethora of opportunities that will help you to realize your highest potential. Your experience will allow you to make an extraordinary contribution to your community, both at home and around the world. Make the most of your time on campus. Join a club, volunteer, or participate in learning and work exchanges both locally and abroad. They can lead to new connections and exciting opportunities that will shape your future.

There are many paths through this university and this calendar can help you find yours. I hear time and again that getting involved on campus can make a big difference in student success, regardless of their scholarly pursuits. As a community we hope you feel welcomed, included, and supported during your time on campus and afterwards.
